Description

Septicemia is a disease of the Blood.
The blood poisoning caused by the bacterial infection is Septicemia.
It may arise from the other infections in the body. It develops very fast.
The poison or toxins may enter the blood through any open wound or Injury. One of the other major causes is partially decomposition of fetus or placenta. As a result the bacteria grow in the Blood and will give rise to swelling. It also causes malfunctioning of the Liver and the Spleen. It may even cause death.
Hence, it is necessary that after pregnancy there should be proper drainage of Uterus.
The symptoms of Septicemia vary from the degree of Infection.
Septicemia is associated with TB, Pneumonia, Diphtheria and Endocarditis.
