IgA Nephropathy is a disease of the Kidney.
The deposition of Iga protein in the kidneys is IgA Nephropathy.
Immunoglobulin A (IgA) is a protein that helps the body to fight Infections. When this protein deposits in the Kidneys it causes IgA Nephropathy.
It causes leakage of the Blood and protein in the urine.
IgA Nephropathy has no symptoms and may be silent for years.
Kidney is a robust Organ. If both Kidneys function 25%, then the human body is normal. It is only when the function of the Kidneys is less than 25%, then it shows symptoms.
