Lymph System Disorder is a disorder of Lymphatic System.
Lymphatic System is a network of thin walled vessels, lymph nodes and hollow tubes. It is an important part of Immune System and Circulatory System. It carries protein rich colorless fluid which is known as Lymph. This fluid carries White Blood Cells, which fight against infections. The major function of Lymphatic System is to remove the toxins, filter the lymph by Spleen and Lymph Nodes and transport it back to the blood streams.
Organs of Lymphatic System: Lymph Nodes : Lymph Nodes are located at the several points through out the body such as, Neck, Armpits, Chest, Abdomen and Groin areas. The bacteria gets trapped in the lymph nodes, which causes swelling in the Lymph Nodes. Then the white blood cells kill the bacteria there.
Spleen : It is located in the abdomen and filters the Lymph and Blood.
Thymus : It is located in the chest, inside the rib cage. It also contains white blood cells and filters the Lymph and Blood.
Lymphatic Vessels : These are thin walled vessels, which carries the colorless Lymph.
