I am suffering from Rheumatoid psoriatic arthritis from past 1 month after an allergy caused by taking medicine as the doctor said.
Earlier too (6 years back) I has this disease, took allopathic medicine (for 6 months) and the symptoms went away,
This allergic reaction aggravated the condition and psoriasis came back with high intensity and I now have pain in knee and ankle, along with scaly skin on back, arms, legs (little spots).
Currently I am taking methotrexate tablet as prescribed by doctor. For skin, the doctor gave moisturizer.
Can you please suggest if Avocado oil will be beneficial, if yes, how to apply.

Hy friend. Avocado oil can be used for Psoriatic Arthritis. Try doing a skin patch test first. Apply over a skin patch. If it suits you, and does not cause any skin itching or irritation then continue the use. Even coconut oil can also be used. Well, you are already taking medication, and its better you get a consultation from your doctor before having anything new. Take care Ashish. You will get fine soon.

Avocado oil does relieve photosensitivity from Losartan (lower blood pressure medicine). After taking daily drug a sunburn may occur, many times very mild. Avocado oil applied to area (face, hands, arms) provides relieve. Long term solution - stop Losartan. If not possible, use avocado oil as needed. It worked for me. Jun2020
