A male Reproductive System includes Scrotum, Testes, Prostrate, Epididymis, Spermatic Ducts, Urethra and Penis. These organs work in harmony to produce Semen and Sperms ( male gamete ).
1. Scrotum : It is a small sac like structure that carries Testes. It is located just below the Penis.
2. Testes : A pair of Testes are present in scrotum, whose function is to produce sperms. A sperms of the male fertilizes an ovum of the female to produce an offspring of its own genus.
3. Epididymis : It is the next structure that is located just on the top the Testes. Their function is to store the sperms and also sperms get mature there.
4. Spermatic Duct ( Vas Defrens ): The thin tubes that begins just after Epididymis to the Pelvic area. The sperms travels through these pipes to get out of the Testes.
5. Prostrate Gland : A walnut sized gland is present in males and is surrounded by urethra. It produces milky fluid that provides nourishment to the Sperms.
6. Urethra : The spermatic duct is followed by Urethra. It carries Urine as well as semen out of the Penis.
7. Penis : The external genital of the male reproductive is Penis. It increases in size at the time of erection. Its function is to pass urine out of the body and to transports sperms into the Vagina.
