Description
Hypospadias is a disease of the Penis.
An abnormal opening of the Urethra is Hypospadias. It is a congenital disease.
Normally, the opening of the Urethra is present at the tip of the Penis. The Urethra passes the urine out of the Body. In Hypospadias, the opening may be anywhere along the length of the penis. It may be present under the Penis or near the Scrotum. It is associated with Chordee and the deformity of the Testes.
It occurs in both males and females. In females, the opening of the Urethra may be present in the Vagina. However, it is very rare.
