Grand Fir is an evergreen tree associated to the Pinaceae family. It is an aborigine of the Pacific Northwest and Northern California.
It is used as an ointment for Sore and Infected Eyes.
Gargling with Grand Fir provides relief from Sore Throat.
Gum obtained from the bark is used as a poultice in treating Cuts and Sores.
Roots and stem are widely used to treat Stomach Problems. It acts as a laxative and tonic. An infusion made of the bark is a good herbal remedy in curing Tuberculosis.
It provides relief in Rheumatism. A poultice made of the stem or bark is applied at the joints in Rheumatism. Poultice is put on the Chest to treat Lung Hemorrhages.
Grand Fir is used as a Tooth Cleanser and eases in Toothache.

Grand Fir is good for Hair health. Pitch from the tree is used to prevent Baldness.
The leaves are aromatic and used as a moth repellent.
The dried leaves are crushed and used in making baby powder.
The gum obtained from the trunk is hardened in cold water and used in manufacturing chewing gums .
