Abelmoschus Ficulneus (White Wild Musk Mallow) is a shrub which bears flowers. Its length ranges between 2-5 feet. It is associated to the Malvaceae family. Musk Mallow flowers do not survive for a long duration. They are white in color with a touch of pink. The mean of the flower is purple in color. These flowers are witnessed in abundance during the summer tide. However, its seeds are obtained in the beginning of the harvest (autumn) season. They majorly grow in India. They are also found in other countries namely, Africa, Australia, Sri Lanka.
The Musk Mallow seeds carry oil, which contains Fatty acids. All the parts of this shrub are utilized for different purposes. Its fruits are fit for consumption by humans.
Its seeds are a beneficial herbal treatment for Asthma.
A fiber is obtained from Abelmoschus Ficulneus's stem. It is used for producing ropes and cords. Its stem contains a gluey material which is used to clear freshly prepared sugar cane juice.
