Aphonia is a Disease of the Larynx.
An illness or an injury causing damage to the Vocal Cords may results in, partial or complete loss of the voice. It is known as Aphonia.
The voice box is known as the Larynx. The inflammation of the Larynx causes Swelling of the Vocal Cords. This results in Loss of Voice.

Materia Medica for Aphonia
Single Herb Make decoction of the leaves of Celery. Gargle with it.
Prepare an infusion of the flowers of the Chamomile. Gargle with it twice a day.
Have decoction of the leaves of Sage. Gargle with it.
Prepare an infusion of the leaves of Plantago. Gargle .
Prepare a cup of tea by adding half tablespoon of dry Agrimony to it. Have it once a day.
Add Cinnamon powder and Black pepper powder in one glass of water. Boil it. Consume it with one teaspoon of Honey added in it.
