Description
Dysphagia is a disease of the Throat and the Esophagus.
The difficulty in swallowing is Dysphagia.
Normally the food is chewed in the mouth and moves to the Esophagus. Then food directly goes to the Stomach for further digestion. But in Dysphagia there is difficulty in swallowing the food. Some times the food gets stuck in the Throat and or moves back in the Mouth. This causes difficulty in Swallowing.

Mouth Cancer
Throat Cancer
Oesophageal Cancer
Gastrooesophageal Reflux
If not treated properly, Dysphagia may cause
Dehydration
Malnutrition
