Throat Cancer is a disease of the Throat.
Cancer that originates from the throat is Throat Cancer.
Throat is a muscular tube that consists of the Pharynx, Larynx and the Tonsils. Pharynx is located behind the mouth and the nasal cavity. Larynx is the muscular organ that passes air to the Lungs. It is the voice box. The Throat starts behind the Nose and ends in the Neck. It helps in breathing and swallowing foods. But anything wrong with the Throat causes difficulty in swallowing and breathing.
Normally the cells divide in a regulate manner. But any changes in cell division disrupts the multiplication of cells. The uncontrolled growth of the cells give rise to Cancer.

Air Pollution
Prolonged Heartburn
Prolonged Exposure to Chemicals
HPV ( Human Papillomavirus ) : It is a genital Virus that spreads through cunnilingus. It causes sexually transmitted infection. It may be a cause of throat cancer.
