Acromegaly is a disease of the Growth Hormones.
The over production of growth hormones by the Pituitary Gland is Acromegaly.
The Pituitary Gland is the master gland of the Body. It is located at the base of the Brain. It regulates the growth of the Body.
Acromegaly causes the enlargement of the Body organs and Vision Problems.
The parts of the Body like Hands, Feet, and Tongue get enlarged.
If we were born as such it would have been alright. If the metabolism had made it normal it would have been alright. But now this will be seen as disproportionate and hence would not be acceptable. But now the impaired metabolism actually makes us sick. Therefore we need to cure it.
