Definition

Antidiuretic herbs are those herbs which control or reduce urination. They are used to control water level of the body. They may reduce the formation of Urine.

Effect of an Antidiuretic on Body or Organ :
These herbs effect the Kidney, Bladder and or Brain.

How does an Antidiuretic work :
These herbs regulate the production of Antidiuretic Hormones (ADH). These hormones travel through blood to the Kidney. Then they get consumed over the walls. Then few reactions take place. This may result in consumption of water in Blood. Therefore the urine is concentrated with less amount of water in it.

Excess of Antidiuretic herbs may cause :
Nausea
Anxiety
Fatigue
Insomnia
Stomach Ache
