What does Chondroitin do for the body

Chondroitin occurs naturally in the body. It is the building block of joint tissue and Cartilage in the Body. It is a long chain of sugars that helps cartilage hold the water. The elasticity of joint cartilage is maintained by Chondroitin.
It is made up of Glucuronic and Galactosamine. It is obtained from animal tissues as Shark and Bovine cartilage, Ligaments, Tendons, Bone ends and Joint capsules.
It has Antiarthritic, Antiatherogenic and Antiinflammatory effects.

What are the functions of Chondroitin in the Body

Chondroitin inhibits cartilage metabolism in the Body. It is best used for Osteoarthritis. The cartilage in the joint breaks down in Osteoarthritis. Chondroitin Sulfate intake slows down the breakdown process. Chondroitin is the major component of extra cellular matrix in the Brain. It helps to stabilize the Brain synapses. In state of Trauma, it regenerates new tissues to replace the nerve endings. It stimulates the regeneration of cartilage in the Body. Topical : For Osteoarthritis, Chondroitin Sulfate is used as cream for sore joints for upto 8 weeks.
Inject : For Osteoarthritis, Chondroitin Sulfate can be injected into muscle daily or twice week.
