Salpingitis is a disease of the Fallopian Tubes.
The inflammation in the Fallopian Tubes is termed as Salpingitis.
Fallopian Tubes are the part of the female Reproductive System. The ovaries release an egg. This egg is transported to the uterus with the help of the fallopian tubes. Here the Egg meets with sperm and the fertilization occurs.
However, some bacterial infection may cause blockage in the Fallopian Tubes. This may cause the formation of pus in the Fallopian tubes and may cause damage. It may lead to Infertility.
