Parts Used
08/05/2022
The Elecampane page (https://herbpathy.com/Uses-and-Benefits-of-Elecampane-Cid2441) tells us the parts used are Root, rhizomes, leaves and flowers. However, the details in the discussion only mention use of the root. I have a nice crop of first year leaves in my garden right now. Are they of any value dried and tinctured? I'm primarily interested in the chest and lung benefits if any. Often times the leaves have the same properties as the root, but just not as strong (ie comfrey). Is this the case with Elecampane?
