Herbal Treatment for Type 2 Diabetes

Dear Sir,
I am 68 yrs male suffering from Diabetes Type 2 for past 15 years and taking Gemer P2 1 Tab before breakfast & P1 1 Tab before dinner for the past 10 years. About 3 months back sugar level increased to Fasting 317 & PP 390 & HBa1C of 9.8 and I was had attack of Jaundice due to Hepatitis E which has now been cured. No other major complication other than occasional burning in sole of both legs which is also not there for nearly 1.5 month and frequent urination in night. Doctor has prescribed me Insulin 30/70 (24 Units before breakfast and 14 Units before dinner) apart from 1 tablet each of Januvia 100 mg(Sitagliptin) after lunch and Metformin mg (Gluconorm) at bedtime. With above medication the present sugar level is fasting 115-125 & PP- 180.
I want to reduce my dependence on Insulin and above allopathic drugs and by adopting Herbal or natural treatment which does not have side effects. Have simple and restricted food habits and perform about 50-60 Min. of walking 5-6 days in a week. My mother also had diabetes for several years and died of kidney complications about 5 years back.
Request your help and guidance in adopting herbal or natural treatment for control and /or treatment of my diabetes by reducing dependence on allopathic medicines.
