White Oak General

Has anyone tried white oak bark to deal with the skin problems of Lichens Schlerous

I have used Aloe vera for Lichen Planus. Drink 30 ml of Aloe vera juice every morning on an empty stomach.
Not hear of Whiite Oak for it.
Also, turmeric is of great help. Make turmeric paste. Turmeric and water should be mixed well to make a thick paste. Apply it all over on the affected area. Do this thrice a day. Persistent use is must.

my mom has white oak bark powder which she thought could be made into a poultice for an open wound.. what do you think?
