Chinese Cucumber is a fruit of a vine.
It is perennial.

Action of Trichosanthes Kirilowii maybe antidoted, canceled and or may be adversely affected by any of the following herbs :
Aconitum Kusnezoffii
Aconitum Carmichaelii

Trichosanthes Kirilowii is effective medicinally. The leaf and stem of the plant are Febrifuge. The fruit is Antibacterial, Anticholesterolemic, Antifungal and Laxative in nature.
Soup prepared from the fruit of the herb cures Cold and Influenza. The rind of the fruit is used to treat Cancer, Jaundice and Bronchial Infections with thick phlegm and Sore Throat.
The fresh root is used as Aborfacient. The root is used to cure Diabetes and Dry Cough.
The powdered root and seed are Antitumor. It is used to treat Mammary Cancer and Invasive moles.
It moistens the Lungs. It removes phlegm and activates qi. It relieves choking sensation in the Chest.
