I am wondering about topical applications for Siegesbeckia Orientalis. A cosmetic company considers this to be their active ingredient in a line of products for sensitive, reddened skin; but, I am not finding information on this elsewhere. Can you comment on the effectiveness, as used topically??
Thank you!

Yes, the herb can be used to cure scars and cuts. It is widely used in many topical stretch marks products for its effectiveness in healing this form of scarring.
So, yes the herb is used in many cosmetic products.

There is a beauty product that claims it will lift the eyelid and decrease the fold on the eyelid due to this herb being one of the ingredients. Can this be true?

We do not have any idea regarding a herb to uplift the eyelid. However, there are many anti aging herbs that we may recommend you. It is advised that you do not take the risk, if you are not sure about the product.

I have read the same, and trying to find more literature. A company has filed a patent for it, describing the mechanism of action. You can search online.
