-It may cause Vomiting, Rash, Anorexia, Diarrhea, Itching.
-Avoid its use during Pregnancy.
-People suffering from Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Autoimmune diseases should avoid taking this herb as Picrorhiza causes the immune system to become more active which will increase the symptoms of Autoimmune diseases.
-Diabetic patients should avoid taking this herb as it may lower the blood sugar level.
-Stop its usage for 2 weeks, before a scheduled surgery.
Drug Interaction :
If you are taking Picrorhiza Scrophulariiflora then do not take Immunosuppressive medications as it reduces its action.

Picrorhiza Scrophulariiflora and Picrorhiza Kurroa are two relative species.
Single HerbTake 5 gram Picrorhiza with lukewarm water. Have it two times a day.
Take 100 gram Picrorhiza ( Kutki ). Boil in 2 glasses of water until it remains half. Have 2 tablespoons once a day.

Take leaves of Chirreta , Picrorhiza and Adhatoda Vasica in equal quantity. Make its decoction. Drink 15 ml of it twice a day
