Cow Parsnip Herb Uses, Benefits, Cures, Side Effects, Nutrients

You seem to use the names as all in one...I have been using and harvesting a species in Northern NM for years and us roots dug in the fall and seeds in late summer when darker and ridged. If you look at the accompanying pages you would think all are the same...DOES ANYBODY BOTHER TO KEY OUT THE DIFFERENCES OF LEAVES AND STEAMS AND FLOWERS so as to harvest a GRAS plant. One guide shows red blotchy stems typical of Hemlock up to 8000' or more in the western mountains...so are people dying because all they were going to get is a skin rash???? The usable Cow Parsnip is usable for tooth aches applied to gums and the root topically for nerve trauma Like Strokes....would appreciate the work someone can do to stop the panic about the plant and for damn sure protect the variety that has been used for thousands of years!
