Description
Metastasis is a disease of the Cells.
When the Cancer Cells spread from one organ to another it is termed as Metastasis.
In a Cancer affected Body, some Cells gain the ability to pass from the infected organ into the blood stream. These Cells travel through the blood stream and may enter an uninfected organ. The Cells multiply and infect the organ. This Cancer of the new organ is called Metastasis.
If a woman is having Lung Cancer and the Cancer spreads to the Breast. It is known as Metastasis Breast Cancer.
