Materia Medica for Lupus

Single Herb

Grapefruit for Lupus

Take two teaspoons of Grapefruit seed extract and mix it in one glass of water. Drink it daily.

Flaxseed Oil for Lupus

Add 3 teaspoons of Flaxseed Oil in your daily diet.

Pinus Pinaster for Lupus

Take 6 teaspoons of Pinus Pinaster ( Pine Bark Extract ) with Yogurt daily.

Evening Primrose for Lupus

Add 3-4 drops of Evening Primrose Oil in your daily diet.
Lemon Verbena Essential Oil has Calming property. Diffuse Lemon Verbena Essential Oil in your home or in the area where you spend most of the time.
OR :

Take one cup of Coconut Oil ( or any other carrier oil ) and add 20 drops of Lemon Verbena Essential Oil in it. Add one tablespoon of this oil blend to a warm bathtub and soak in it for 15 minutes. Repeat the process once a day.

Lime Essential Oil for Lupus

Lime Essential Oil lifts mood while revitalizing the body.
Take one tablespoon of Coconut Oil ( or any other carrier oil ) and add six drops of Lime Essential Oil in it. Mix them well. Massage this oil blend over the body. Repeat the process once a day before going to bed.

One of my relatives is suffering from an auto-immune disorder named Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).It's been 8years when this problem was diagnosed .This disorder affects various organs of the body and accordingly medicines are prescribed . Somebody suggested to try ayurvedic treatment and i came across Herbpathy.com, i have gone through the information and i would be very grateful if your team could suggest any solution to overcome this problem.

Sir/madam
My husband is suffering from Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (S.L.E) and it has been 7 years since the problem was diognised and he is under treatment for controlling it all those days.
He has joint pains and skin problem an hair loss..he sometimes develop diabetes and has got heart problem.
I came across with Night jasmine in this web and I gave it to him for three days now(two teaspoon of blended leaves twice a day)he is 39 yes old.
This will be helpful?or what should I do?

Hi, Why don't you start him on Borage capsules ? These are known to be very effective for Lupus patients.

My partner suffers from SLE also.
Her biggest concern is the muscle wasting, especially in the hip/buttock area.
She gets enough protein and exercise, as recommended, but still has muscle loss.
Any recommendations?
