Description
Atelectasis is a disease of the Lungs.
When a person inhales air, it directly goes into the Lungs through the Nose. The Lungs contain small air sacs ( Alevoli ) that supply oxygen to the Blood. Through Blood, all the Body parts get Oxygen. If there is some obstruction and air fails to reach the Lungs, the Lungs may collapse. It is known as Atelectasis. It causes difficulty in breathing and lack of oxygen in the Body.

Materia Medica for Atelectasis
Single Herb Add half teaspoon Turmeric ( Haldi ) in a glass of hot milk. Drink it once a day. This formula dissolves the mucus.
Water ( Pani ) for Atelectasis
Consuming Water ( Pani ) helps to clear airways so that air can easily reach to the lungs
Have at least 10 glasses of Water ( Pani ) daily.
Boil a small piece of Ginger ( Adrak ) in a cup of water. Strain. Take it thrice a day.
